Partridge Green Area Response Team (PART) has just installed a rather special Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) outside the Village Hall. This is great news for the village as it can be accessed by anyone in an emergency – at any time, day or night.
So, in the event of a heart attack, you too can save a life using the PAD. The machines are so clever that they can sense what is required and you have voice guidance throughout so that you really can’t get it wrong!
The PAD has a special heated security cabinet which protects the machine’s electronics and the locks open by entering a unique code given to you by the ambulance service when you call 999.
