The Allmond Centre was built by the Parish Council on the Playing Field to replace the old pavilion that was no longer economical to repair.
It includes FA standard changing rooms as well as a community area and kitchen that are available to hire for a wide range of events. More details can be found on a dedicated website:

Provisional bookings can be made online using the diary below (or the one included on the dedicated website).
The facility is available for hire from 9:00am to 11:59pm.
To make a provisional booking, click on the + symbol on the date you wish to book. If you are making a booking request for the first time, you will be asked to enter your contact details and a password; once you have done this, you can complete the remainder of the booking request form.
After you have made a provisional booking, a Booking Form (and the associated Conditions of Hire document) will be emailed to you by the Booking Officer. When your request has been approved, we will send you an invoice. When you receive it, please pay online or send a cheque to the Parish Clerk.
Once the form and payment have been received, your booking will be confirmed and instructions for access to, and use of, the facility will be provided.
The rates of hire from September 2022 are:
Community area and use of the kitchen for teas and coffees:
- Residents: £13.00/hr
- Non-residents and commercial businesses: £20.00/hr
Use of the cooking facilities (ovens, hobs, etc) will incur a surcharge of £7.00 per session.
Changing rooms:
- Residents: £13.00/hr
- Non-residents and commercial businesses: £26.00/hr
Please note that the hire period must include any time required for setting up and clearing away.
Security deposits may be applied to cover against damage, breakages, lost items and extra cleaning costs. These will be confirmed at the time of booking.
