Demolition of existing bungalows and erection of 4 no. 1 bedroom maisonettes and 4 no. 2 bedroom houses with associated external works and landscaping.

Cowfold Parish Council (CPC) supports this application to address the requirements for additional one and two bedroom affordable housing units in the village. However, emphasises the need for Saxon Weald as the housing provider to fully consult with and offer the existing, remaining resident of the four extant bungalows the opportunity to relocate within Cowfold.


Whitelined House, The Street

Re-instatement of the existing first floor window and form new opening for French doors.  Install new metal railings and brick plinth to front entrance to match existing.  Demolish garden shed and erection of a replacement shed.  Internal alterations to rear ground floor and installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Point (Retrospective) (Listed Building Consent).

Cowfold Parish Council returns a neutral response in respect of this planning application; making the assumption that if the alterations applied for proceed the relevant ones will be conducted in accordance with the criteria addressed in the submitted Heritage Statement.One member of Cowfold Parish Council declared an interest in this planning application and thus refrained from casting a vote.
