St Peter’s Church

St Peter’s Church is located at the heart of the village and was established in the thirteenth century. More information on the church and the schedule of services can be found at www.stpeterschurch-cowfold.org.uk. In addition to its regular schedule of services, the Church organises:

  • “Short and Sweet” – an informal 20 minutes worship especially for families, followed by hot chocolate and
  • “Taize by Candlelight” – a gentle candle-lit service of simple choruses, short readings and contemplation.

Friday Café

Every Friday morning in term time, the Church offers the opportunity for parents, carers, pre‐school children – in fact anyone from the village! – to drop into Cowfold Village Hall from 10am to 12 noon. Free cuppas and hot buttered toast are provided and everyone is welcome to come along for refreshments and companionship.
