HDC Health Walk: Park and Hop from Hop Oast

Hop Oast Park and Ride

Meet at the Hop Oast Park and Ride, Horsham Worthing Road, RH13 0AR. Horsham buses 23 and 98 take you to the Park and Ride. We walk through the golf course and take a gentle stroll through one of several routes in Denne Park/Chesworth into Horsham in time for coffee - 2 miles. Alternatively, you can park in the Park and Ride and get the bus back after the walk. Don't forget your bus pass. Sorry No dogs. Jill (07780 701184) or Jean (07734 323321).

Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council

Monthly meeting of the Parish Council. The public can attend and there is an item on the Agenda when they can raise issues/make comments.
The meeting is followed by a Planning Meeting, where planning applications that are relevant to Cowfold are reviewed and the comments of the Parish Council are recorded for submission to HDC.

HDC Health Walk: West Grinstead Church and Downs Link

Downs Link car park next near to the Orchard Restaurant

5.5 miles - 2.5 hrs.
Meet at West Sussex County Council car park next to the Downs Link at West Grinstead, immediately east of Orchard Restaurant (RH13 8LU, TQ183226). The car park is hard to find as the sign is tucked away especially if you are coming from the west. The car park entrance is opposite Park Lane. This walk involves walking along the Downs Link and fields to view a church and a walk along the River Adur. Well behaved dogs welcome. Irene (01403 783637 / 07790 420752).

HDC Health Walk: Handcross Jaunt

Meet in Car Park, northern end of Handcross on B2110 by sports pavilion/children’s play area (RH17 6BJ) near Water Lane. There is no parking P sign, just a yellow height barrier near and on the same side as Water Lane. A variety of walks start here gentle undulating ground, tracks, paths, woodland etc. Quite shady but can be muddy in parts after rain. Dogs allowed. Jill (07780 701184).

HDC Health Walk: Partridge Green Circular – Eastern Route

6 miles - 2 hrs 45 mins.
Meet in the car park at the Partridge Green Village Hall, RH13 8HX (TQ190191) for a circular walk to the east of the village of Partridge Green. The walk will include stiles but is fairly flat however it can be muddy during the winter. The walk will take us past a 16th century moated house Ewhurst Manor and Shermanbury Church.
