| You can use any graphics creation program to make banner adverts for the Cowfold Parish website. The
resultant JPG or GIF picture should be 440
pixels wide x 60 pixels high. Follow these instructions to use the Paint program which comes free with all
versions of Microsoft Windows:-
1. Click Start, then choose Run. Type MSPAINT and click OK
2. When the Paint program opens, from the Image menu select Attributes
3. Ensure the width and height of your picture are set to 440W x 60H and Units are set to Pixels. Click OK
4. Create your advert
TIPS:-
1. Keep it simple
2. Don't be tempted to list your whole range of products/services
3. Make your statements big, bold and easy to read
Here's a professional example:-
Remember - when people click your ad, they are re-directed to
your own website (if you have one)
5. From the File menu choose Save As
6. Name your file, then from the Save as type
drop-down list, select JPEG or GIF format.
7. Email the text of your advert (for the search engine), together with the
picture you just created, to
webadmin@cowfold-pc.gov.uk
